A new year

More hope. Hope that things keep getting better for Lukas. Hope that Theron keeps growing strong and healthy and that we will one day be able to say that Lukas is healthy too. One day very soon.

It's only been 7 weeks to the day that we got Lukas' diagnosis. Since then we've had 3 hospital stays ranging from 3 weeks to 4 days, 3 rounds of chemo, 2 head CT scans, a chest-abdomen-pelvic CT, a bone scan, an MIBG scan and more labs than I can count on 10 hands. He is such a trooper though. And the nice thing is-our nurses FIGHT over who gets to take care of him! It's a big deal when Lukas comes to the floor! He's making a name for himself in clinic too!

Theron has been such a big boy through all of this too. We tell him when bubba has to go to the doctor and when bubba has to go to the hospital for medicine. He doesn't like when he's away from Lukas and as soon as we get home he looks for him. "Where's bubba?" It's so sweet.

I've got the greatest little boys in the world!
